Joey McGirr, Founder & Why Guy

What is your Super Hero Power?
I’d like to get into people’s heads Professor X style

What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
GI Joey

If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it? “People are stupid: A guide to myself”

What he does: Joey creates ideas, shapes them into engines, mobilizes them, and finds someone to drive them. He is an entrepreneur. Joey enjoys getting around people who want to make a difference in the community they live. He has a strong affinity for movers and shakers and tends to stay pretty busy.

He’s a personal branding enthusiast. Believing that every part of everyone has a distinctive style just as unique as our individual fingerprints. He thinks there are just as many new ideas and perspectives as there are people on the planet and he wants to hear them all.

An “End User Advocate,” experimenting with everything he can get his hands on, Joey wants to have the best experience available and then to become an evangelist who shares it with the world. Often, he finds things that don’t work or could be a little better. When he sees this, he wants to find out who’s responsible so he can offer his services to improve the overall experience. His greatest joy is “plusing the world.” He loves when he finds something that he can’t add value to; it’s very rare.

Also a Philosopher, Idea Man, Polymath and something he calls a, “Why Guy.” A Why Guy is the opposite of a Guru. A Guru has done everything there is, experienced the pinnacle of potential. Joey doesn’t think he’ll ever peak. He just keeps getting better, because he never stops asking questions. It’s true, he has the curiosity of a 5 year old.
